Dry pet foods are full of many indigestible ingredients. Most "kibble" (dry food) contains 80% more grain or other carbohydrates. These carbohydrates are not digested well and do not provide energy for your pets.

Grains also metabolize directly into glucose which feeds inflammation and cancer cells as well. On top of that, think of the preservatives, flavor enhancers and the way these foods are made through high heat processing thus killing any nutrients, enzymes, vitamins and minerals that lend their living qualities to raw pet foods. This is why you see many other strange sounding ingredients added into most dry and canned foods.
