How Can I Improve My Pets (and my) Immune System

The last year has been stressful on all of us including our pets. It started with a shortage of toilet paper then gloves, facemasks, sanitizer and now possibly gas and food, especially meat. Our schedules all changed with quarantine, businesses closed, shopping limited and so many other social norms. Our pets lives have been affected as well. You are home when they are used to resting while you were at work. Now you are walking them to death. You are probably munching yourself out of stress and boredom and your guilt tells you they need treats too. Could this cause a problem?

If we have learned one thing from this whole endeavor is that we really need to protect and build a healthy immune system to fight off these health challenges.  The immune system is a complex network of cells, tissues, organs, and the substances they make that helps the body fight infections and other diseases. The immune system includes white blood cells, organs and tissues of the lymph system, such as the thymus, spleen, tonsils, lymph nodes, lymph vessels, and bone marrow.

The first step in retaining a healthy immune system is removing exposure to toxins that will debilitate these organs that we need functioning at their optimal level. Many household and yard products contain toxic, unnatural components that compromise the immune system. Drugs and medications often have this same compromising effect. We understand that we cannot always eliminate exposure toxins that are all around us, we can help the body eliminate them once they invade.

Good, species appropriate nutrition is the perfect system for delivering nutrients that are needed to maintain and build the structure of the whole body but also acts to remove these various toxins that we have been exposed to. It is important to have diversity in the diets of our pets and we ourselves as different foods remove specific toxins. Examples of this are seen with foods like cilantro and chlorella removing many heavy metals like mercury and aluminum and also are a source of micro nutrients needed to strengthen the system.

We also have to realize that the body is dynamic which means it is always changing. Parts or the body break down and rebuild on an ongoing basis. We have seen complete elimination and healing of pets and their care givers with just the simple life style changes of changing diet.  The impact of supplying the cleansing and nutritive power of a variety of different botanical, herbal foods and spices into the body impacts the energetic process to heal and to fight the assaults on the being.

We know it’s not about what we face but how the body responds to these assaults. Our pets often reflect and respond to our energies and fears. The state of our physical, mental and emotional strength of being, the stronger the immune response will be. The cleaner our environment and our food supply are, the healthier our immune system will be and the more resistant the being will be. And it is imperative that we follow this system of immune building as an ongoing life change and not wait for the next threat.
